Chicken Nuggets

 Homemade chicken nuggets are a delicious and healthier alternative to store-bought versions. Here's a basic recipe for making chicken nuggets at home:


Ingredients:

  1. 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or chicken tenders
  2. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  3. 2 cups breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Chicken:

Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized nugget pieces. If you're using chicken tenders, you may not need to cut them further.

  • Set Up Your Breading Station:

In three separate bowls, set up a breading station:

Bowl 1: Add the all-purpose flour.

Bowl 2: Beat the eggs with the milk.

Bowl 3: Combine the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).

  • Coat the Chicken:

Take each piece of chicken and coat it in the flour, shaking off any excess.

Dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.

Roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to adhere.

  • Repeat the Coating:

For extra crispy nuggets, you can repeat the process. Dip the breaded chicken back into the egg mixture and then into the breadcrumbs again.

  • Heat the Oil:

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat about 1-2 inches of cooking oil over medium-high heat to around 350-375°F (175-190°C).
