Watermelon Juice

Watermelon juice is a refreshing and hydrating drink, especially during hot weather. Here's a simple recipe for making watermelon juice:

Ingredients:

4 cups of diced, seedless watermelon (about 1 small watermelon)

1-2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice (optional)

Sugar or honey, to taste (optional)

Ice cubes (optional)

Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Start by preparing the watermelon. Cut the watermelon in half and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Remove any seeds if present.

Cut the watermelon flesh into small chunks or cubes. Make sure to remove any white rind as it can make the juice less sweet.

Place the diced watermelon into a blender or food processor. If you prefer, you can use a handheld immersion blender.

Blend the watermelon until it becomes a smooth and liquid consistency. You can adjust the thickness of the juice by adding a little water if it's too thick or blending it longer if it's too pulpy.

Taste the watermelon juice. If it's not as sweet as you'd like, you can add sugar or honey to taste. Start with a small amount and adjust until it reaches your desired sweetness.

If you want to add a refreshing tang to your watermelon juice, squeeze fresh lime juice into the blender. Start with 1-2 tablespoons and adjust to your taste preference. Blend again to combine.

If you prefer your watermelon juice cold, you can add ice cubes to the blender and blend until the ice is crushed and the juice is cold.

Once you're satisfied with the taste and consistency, pour the watermelon juice into glasses.

Garnish with mint leaves for a burst of freshness and a beautiful presentation.

Serve your homemade watermelon juice immediately and enjoy the cool, refreshing taste.

Watermelon juice is best enjoyed fresh, but you can refrigerate any leftovers for a day or two. Give it a quick stir before serving if it separates. Enjoy your delicious and hydrating watermelon juice!
