Chocolate Malt Cake

 Here's a recipe for a delicious Chocolate Malt Cake:

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup malted milk powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

1 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1 cup hot water

For the Malt Chocolate Frosting:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup malted milk powder

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

4 cups powdered sugar

1/4 cup whole milk or cream

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, malted milk powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Combine Wet Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:

Once the cakes are completely cool, spread a layer of frosting on top of one of the cakes. Place the second cake on top and frost the top and sides of the entire cake.
