Here is the recipe of Bihari Kulcha
Ingredients:
1 kg all-purpose flour (maida)
1 kg semolina (suji)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup clarified butter (ghee)
1/2 teaspoon kalonji seeds
2 pinches of salt
Water as needed
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour (maida), semolina (suji), with all ingredients and mix well.
Add a little water at a time and knead to make a firm dough. The dough should be stiff.
Roll out the dough to a thickness of half an inch and cut using a cutter into desired shapes.
In a separate bowl, mix together the yolk of one egg, powdered sugar, and yellow food coloring. Beat until well combined.
Brush this mixture onto the prepared dough shapes (kulchay). Bake in pre heat oven on 170/ degree. Baking would be of about 5-7 minutes, it could be vary on yours.
